JON MILLS

Jon Mills is an original member of the Hollas Team. In 2008 he got a taste of life on the PGA Tour and it was an experience he has been building on. This year he opens on the Nationwide Tour with his number one goal being a top 25 finish on the money list and a ticket back to the Show.

About the Hollas Line... There are guys out there who have been playing these courses for years, says Mills, who has been a supporter of Second Skin Garment Co. and its popular Hollas golf apparel line since he teed it up in his first PGA Tour event at the Canadian Open in 2003.

In 2007 Jon went on a torrid streak starting in July at the Nationwide Childrens Hospital Invitational making 11 consecutive cuts including his second win on the Nationwide Tour at the Albertsons Boise Open in late September. That streak culminated with a win at the Albertsons Boise Open, where a tournament-record 21-under 263 and an eagle-par-birdie finish produced a three-stroke win over D.A. Points and a first-place check of $121,500. His first win on the tour came in 2005 at the Canadian PGA Championship. He was named the Nationwide Tour's September Player of the Month.

Jon earned a total of $366,244 by making the cut in 22 of 27 events including nine top-10 finishes. His career earnings on the Nationwide Tour total $824,342. He finished the year with a World Golf Ranking of 240th. Jon played in the US Open as a Monday qualifier shooting rounds of 73-78 and passed on the Canadian Open in favour of playing on the Nationwide Tour.

In 2006 - Jon struggled through his rookie season on the PGA TOUR finishing the year with six made cuts in 27 appearances. A T-42 at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am represented his best outing, while he finished T-46 at the Booz Allen Classic, T55 at the Honda Classic, T-59 at the Sony Open and BC Open and T-70 at the Reno Tahoe Open. He earned a total of $65,494 on the PGA Tour in 2006.

In 2005 - Jon finished fifth on the Nationwide Tour money list pocketing an impressive $325,807. He posted nine Top-10s, second-best on Tour, including six Top-3s. Jon opened the season with a T2 at the BellSouth Panama Championship. He claimed his first career victory at the Canadian PGA Championship at Whistle Bear GC in Cambridge, ON with rounds of 68-67-63-71 to finish at 19-under-par, three shots ahead of Ken Duke. With the win he cashed a check for $81,000. One of many highlights on the season included a career-best 11-under-par 60 in the second round of the Cox Classic. He also went head-to-head with David McKenzie at the Gila River Golf Classic, finishing runner-up by one.

In 2004 - Jon finished 49th on the Nationwide Tour as he made the cut in 14 of 27 events. The season included four Top-10 finishes highlighted by a fourth place at the Louisiana Open as he earned $120,690 in winnings.

In 2003 - Jon played in just three Nationwide Tour events. He focused his play on the Canadian Tour winning the Order of Merit to become the first Canadian to win the Order of Merit since Mike Weir in 1997. The highlights of the season included a win at the MTS Classic and making the cut for the first time in the Canadian Open played at Hamilton G&CC.

In 2002 - He made four cuts in 19 events on the Nationwide Tour earning $10,523 and also played the Canadian Tour.
